author :DonnaMarie
DonnaMarie was born in Western Massachusetts and grew up overlooking the Long Island Sound in Connecticut. She was accredited with a degree in English Literature with a desire to teach, but with life’s twists and turns, she pursued a management banking career that spanned three decades.
Rather than retire, however, she chose to pursue a second career as an Adjunct Professor teaching employment skills to young adults with special needs; eventually evolving into a job coaching role for her local school system. This allowed her to gain firsthand insight into the challenges facing the disabled. Although she started writing in high school and college, it was then she dove whole-heartedly into it when inspired by her ‘interns’. She wrote her non-fiction booklet, ‘I HATE WORMS ‘ – A Manual About Bullying to draw attention to the obstacles they face too many times in silence.
DonnaMarie is still married to her high school sweetheart after fifty-plus years and they enjoy life in Florida intending to stay as long as life allows. Her love for New England shows passionately in her debut novel, HIDDEN MIRRORS – The Looking Glass of the Soul, as well as the sequels, HIDDEN MIRRORS – Twisted Image, and HIDDEN MIRRORS – Behind the Glass.
Although these novels are not biographies of her life, she brings the reader to the landmarks she knows well, making them feel as if they were there and in the moment. She is passionate about her writing and currently working on a new project
